Evaluation of Common Criteria, FIPS 140, INTERAC (SPED), security and cryptographic products

Pre-Certification Assistance

• Initial review and guidance on preparing required documentation;
• Determination of applicable FIPS 140 security level (1-4);
• Preliminary review of the crypto module to determine areas of non-compliance between The module design and the standard;

Certification Testing

• Functional testing;
• Physical testing;
• Preparation of written report;
• Submission of certification test results to NIST and CSE for approval;
• Clarification of test results with NIST and CSE.

Cryptographic Algorithm Conformance Testing

Conformance testing of the following FIPS-approved cryptographic algorithms:

• Triple DES (3DES), Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) and Skipjack for encryption and decryption.
• Secure Hash Standard (SHS) SHA-1, SHA-224, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512 for message digests.
• Random Number Generators (RNG) FIPS 186-2, ANSI X.9.31, ANSI X.9.62
• Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA), Rivest-Shamir-Adelman (RSA); Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm (ECDSA).

• An in-depth course on the specifics of the FIPS 140 standard (tailored to client requirements);
• Up-to-date information on interpretations of the standard made by NIST and CSE;
